Mark 9:24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

We need to learn to be honest when we pray. God knows where we are in our faith. We need to be honest with ourselves. Presumption and faith are not the same thing. Presumption is based on what the one presuming wants to happen without regard to what the other might want to happen. Faith is built on what God plans to happen. When we pray we must know our motives and what God’s word says about our request. The prayer of faith must agree with the scripture. Should we pray for healing? Yes, but healing has different ways and forms. We are to make our request know to God but He chooses the when, where and how to answer those request. He always hears and answers. It’s us who sometime look the wrong direction and miss the answers God gives us. When we pray let us have fait in God to answer our request in His perfect way.
