Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

There is a lot in this verse that we are told to do. We are not to be conformed to this world. So often we try to blend in or imitate others in this world. We don’t want to be too different from those around us. If those around us are followers of Christ there’s no problem but we are inundated by the world telling us we must be, do or want what it says. We are to be transformed into the image of God through the renewing of our minds. This is done by reading, studying and meditating on the instructions in the Holy Bible. We are to hide those words in our hearts and grow into the image of God with the direction of His Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit we will be able to discern the will of God and will be able to tell the difference between what the world clams is good and what God says is good.
