Constant in Prayer

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

We can always be rejoicing in the hope of our salvation because God does not lie and promises salvation to all who call on the name of Jesus, His Son. Because of our salvation we can be patient in tribulation for it will not last for eternity. The outcome of any tribulation for a believer is eternity with our God. So often we fail in being constant in prayer. I am writing this on July 4th. Today I am continually lifting up my country before the throne of God. I intersperse it with the names of some who do not know my Lord. This is an ongoing practice. When I am not in conversation with someone else, I can be in conversation with God. I can even converse with Him without any audible sounds. What a marvelous gift He has given us – the gift of prayer.
