More Obedient

Acts 10:13-14. And there came a voice to him: “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”

Wow. This is after Pentecost and Peter is still saying no to Jesus. Before we condemn Peter too much we must look at ourselves. How often do we reject a word in the Bible? How often do we reject what we hear the Holy Spirit whisper to us while we are praying? Before we say we never reject the word in the Bible we must review all it tells us to do: love our enemies, forgive as God forgives are just 2 of the many instructions. Let’s ask God’s Holy Spirit to help us be more obedient to all He says to do.
