Move On

Hebrews 6:9. Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things—things that belong to salvation.

When we see others fall into temptation we have a God-given responsibility not to condemn them or gossip about them. We are to encourage them to accept what they did, acknowledge it as sin, confess it to God, ask and receive His forgiveness, forgive themselves, ask and accept forgiveness of those they might have hurt and put it behind determining to move forward with God and the encouragement of fellow believers. Our question is are we a forgiving encourager or a condemner? Remember John 8:7 “And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”
