Image Restored

John 1:14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Why did Jesus have to come in the form of the flesh of God’s created mankind? Sin entered the flesh God created with Adam and Eve. For the creation of fleshly mankind to be restored into the image of God as He originally created, God had to come into man. God’s image in man had to be restored from within. He walked this earth as a man and as God to show us His image. After He died on the cross for our sins and rose back to physical life, He returned to His throne and sent His Holy Spirit to dwell within fleshly man, helping man to release his sinful image and learn to live in God’s image. Our question is which image are we reflecting to others?
