God Understands

Hebrews 2:17-18. Therefore he had to be made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

If you’re like me there are times when walking through troubles we think God can’t understand how difficult it is for us. God became flesh in every respect we are. He was complete with nerves that could hurt, muscles that could be sore and strained, emotions that could be bothersome. He could and did experience exhaustion, persecution, mis-understandings, anger, loss, etc. the difference is, as son of man He was also Son of God and walked without sin. He does understand our hurts, weakness, disappointments, pain and all we experience. He doesn’t promise to protect us from what life in this sinfull world brings our way but He does promise to walk with us as we walk out this life. We only need to remember to look to Him.
