Still a Choice

Ephesians 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses,

When God created mankind, He created them to be holy and blameless. He wanted them to make the choice to be that way, not to be forced. Mankind chose to put self-indulgence ahead of obedience. God knew mankind would make that choice and provided a way for redemption. Blood represents life. It would take blood to return mankind to life in, through and with God. When the time was right for mankind, God sent His Word, His Son, Jesus to shed His blood for the redemption of mankind. God still gives mankind a choice. We can choose redemption through the blood of Jesus or we can still choose to be self-indulgent. Our question is what is our choice?
