Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Faith is not blind. It is not built on unthinking, blind acceptance. Faith is built on experience and grows with knowledge. Faith is founded in the written Word of God, the Holy Bible. The Bible isn’t a mishmash of unrelated stories and events. It isn’t just a group of unrelated verses and sayings. Try reading the Bible from cover to cover. It helps if we use a guide that arranges the chapters of the Bible chronologically. When we read it in the order of the events recorded we see the connective thread of all the words in the Bible. May I recommend a cronological guide used with a translation that reads easiest to your language style. You will never find better reading. As we read chronologically our faith in the truth and accuracy of God’s written words grows and our knowledge of God grows.
