Daniel 10:12-13 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to humble thyself before thy God, thy words were heard: and I am come for thy words’ sake. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia

Many ask why we should pray. Since God is in control they don’t see any reason for them to pray. God is in control. He has chosen mankind through His Son, Jesus, to be co-heirs with His Son. As co-heirs we not only share in the benefits of the heir but also in the work. Prayer is what we call conversation with God,. In Daniel we also see conversation uniting the power of the believer’s prayer with God’s power.. Even though God is in control He has chosen to use our prayers as a connection with His power. He can do all things Himself without any involvement from us but God is trusting us with a responsibility for uniting with Him. Our question is are we living up to our responsibility and God’s trust in us?
