Where It’s From

John 2:9-10 And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom, and said to him, Every man sets on first the good wine; and when men have drunk freely, then that which is worse: you have kept the good wine until now.

The steward, or ruler of the feast, didn’t know where the wine was from nor did he ask. He just liked it and served it for all to enjoy. We so often don’t realizes where our blessings come from but we just take them for granted, enjoy them and continue on. We need to understand all that comes to us first passes through our Father’s hand. Since this is true, we must learn to thank God for all that comes to us: the good and the things we consider bad. It is in and through all things that we give praise and thanks to God. We must ask ourselves where are we in our thankfulness and praise?
