Genesis 2:2 2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. (NIV)

John 19:30 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (NIV)

When God finished creation after six God days (with God a day is as a thousand years or more and a thousand years or more is as a day), all things that exist or ever will were created and finished except for the atoning of the sins of mankind.  Jesus finished that on the cross.  I learned that all was finished sitting on my porch swing one day and having a vision of songs and words and other things floating around in the air.  God spoke to my heart and said all that is or will be in our time and space are already created by Him and waiting for us to see, hear and latch on and bring into our time and space.  We sometimes thing we’re so smart and cleaver with what “we” create.  All creation comes from God and is just there waiting for us to unite with His creation.  The question we must answer is what is it that we, as individuals, are to see, hear and bring into being in our time and space.  Each of us as a unique calling in this process.  Many things are delayed by our distraction on other things.  Let us learn to ask God each day what He is waiting for us to hear, see and bring forth.
