Thank You, Jesus

Matthew 20:18-19 18 “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death 19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day, he will be raised to life!” (NIV)

We celebrate today as the day Jesus was born of the Virgen, Mary, as flesh and blood.  He left God the Father for the sole purpose of dying on the cross for our sins so we can once again be in the image of God.  His entire walk on earth He knew what His purpose was and what He would be facing.  Christmas day is of no consequence without the death and resurrection of Jesus.  As we celebrate His first coming, let’s be sure to thank Him for His sacrifice for us and continue to prepare for His second coming for us, His Bride by sharing this glorious news with all we meet.

Happy Birthday, Jesus. Thank You for coming, dying, resurrecting and the promise of coming back for us.
