Matthew 5:5 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth (NIV)

eek is the opposite of proud.  When you are meek you quietly submit to God and do not feel you must work to impress others.  When you are insulted, you follow the example of Jesus and keep silent allowing God to be your defense.  Your speech is kind and you are patient.  All this makes you a happy person living in the presence of God and full of His Holy Spirit.  You enjoy your intimate fellowship with Him throughout each day.  You are quick to confess sin to God and quick to receive His forgiveness.  You are also quick to forgive others.  Our question is, does this describe us?  Let’s take time to reflect on each of these chrematistics and ask God to show us in what areas we need more help.
