Matthew 5:6 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. (NIV)

No one is righteous but Jesus Christ.  When we hunger and thirst for righteousness we are hungering and thirsting for Christ.  We want to be filled with the righteousness of Christ, therefore we want to be filled with Him.  This takes place by the daily filling of the Holy Spirit.  It is the Holy Spirit Who enables us to be filled with the character of Jesus Christ.  We can’t know His character without really getting into the written Word, the Holy Bible.  To be filled we must read the word, meditate on the word, ingest and digest the word and practice the word.  Our question we must ask ourselves is, do we hunger and thirst after the word?  We are promised we will be filled if we do.  Do we want to be filled?  The filling is up to us.  It is there for our filling.  Let’s get some filling today.
