Matthew 10:6-7 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. (NIV)

After Jesus appointed His 12 disciples he told them to go.  Not to stay within their group but to go out to those who didn’t believe.  Early in our walk with God we realized all our friends and neighbors were believers.  We really didn’t know any outside our church family.  We decided to take square dancing lessons to meet other people.  The first couple we met were from our church.  We politely told them it was good to see them but our purpose in coming was to meet people who didn’t go to church.  As the lessons continued we were blessed to make relationships with several non-believers and were able to watch as God’s Spirit worked through us drawing them into questions and eventually into personal relationships with God through Jesus.  We must ask ourselves if we are in church or our church family so much that we aren’t out witnessing to those who need to hear God’s message.
