Matthew 12:30 30 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. (NIV)

Jesus said in Romans 8:17  Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.  Since we are co-heirs, we must also be co-workers.  We have a responsibility to work with Jesus.  When He speaks of gathering or scattering He is talking about the lost sheep, those who don’t know Him.  We scatter by not showing them the love, grace and mercy of God.  We gather by loving and showing them the grace and mercy of God through our words and our actions.  We get so consumed in our own personal lives we forget our purpose.  We must continually check on ourselves and see if we are a gatherer or a scatterer.  Who are you going to talk to about Jesus today?
