Matthew 19:23 23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. (NIV)

Not everyone can handle being rich.  So often the more money we have, the more we spend on things we think we want or things that will show how much money we have and the more money we want.  It can be a vicious circle.  Lots of money can produce pride.  When we think the money, we earn is our own because we are the ones who worked and earned it we are so wrong.  Everything on this earth belongs to God.  He is the One Who made all that is in this earth.  He made us and He is the One Who gives us breath and the ability to work.  It is the Creator we need to seek, not the creation.  When our hearts are right God has promised to meet all our needs.  We need to be mindful of how we spend God’s money.  All our money belongs to God.  He allows us to use it.  Let’s use it in a way that is pleasing to Him.
