Acts 1:3-4 3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.  (NIV)

There is much proof Jesus lived, was crucified, died, was buried and arose from the dead appearing to, being touched by, speaking and teaching and eating with many witnesses.  This proof is not my purpose today.  What I want to point out is He appeared at various times to various people doing and saying various things.  No one knew when He would appear, where He would appear or what He would do or say when He did appear.  The same is true today.  These people whom Jesus appeared to were going about their daily business.  We are to go about our daily business.  The business He charged us with was to go and make disciples.  That is more than going and witnessing.  That is teaching, encouraging and enabling those around us to not only believe in Jesus, but to follow Him and obey Him in all we do.  Jesus appears everyday through His Holy Spirit in His followers.  It is through us He is seen, heard and teaches.  It is not recorded every time He appeared during the 40 days He remained, physically on this earth nor where He went.  He is no longer limited to the physical.  He is only limited by our willingness to go, act and speak.  Our question is are we limiting Jesus from going into all the world making disciples?
