Acts 10:34-35 34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism (NIV)

We like to wear titles.  Titles seem to give us identity.  We judge some titles to be more important and impressive than others.  We have made a grading system of people who are to be treated more favorably.  God has no favorites.  He loved each one of us to equally die on the cross to forgive our sins.  We are each given to the extent we forgive others.  The same amount of forgiveness is there for each one of us (total forgiveness), but it is our choice by our willingness to forgive others which determines our forgiveness from God.  This is not favoritism.  This is our openness and willingness to receive from God.  Let us put jealousy aside when looking at others for we are all equal.  Let us encourage one another to avail ourselves of all God has for us through His Holy Spirit.
