Matthew 25:10 10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. (NIV)

It is my prayer before you read any further you will open your Bibles and read Matthew 25 starting at verse 1.  The virgins represent the believers in Jesus.  The oil represents the Holy Spirit.  Ten of the virgins didn’t refresh their lamps with oil.  They had to go find someone with oil to refresh them.  The other ten had a daily supply of oil.  We have the option of having a daily supply of oil.  We can ask God to refill us each and every day.  We can’t afford to go one day without the re-infilling of the Holy Spirit.  No man knows the day or time of Jesus’ coming back for the believers.  Jesus said He didn’t even know the day or time.  Only the Father knows.  We must be continually ready.  We dare not sleep and let our flame, the flame of the Holy Spirit, the Light of God, burn out within us.  He must be the priority in our hearts, minds and lives.  We need to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.  This takes discipline in obedience and meditation in communion with God the Father.  Let not a day go by without the re-infilling of the Holy Spirit to enable us to keep the wicks of God’s light burning within us.
