One Passage

Matthew 7:13-14 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (NIV)

When the Apollo astronauts would return to earth’s atmosphere after their very long journeys, they had a narrow door to reenter.  The passage was less than forty miles wide.  Coming from such a great distance at such a great speed it is like trying to thread a needle with a narrow thread from several feet away from the eye of the needle.  Many think there are multiple ways to enter heaven.  Jesus, Who’s home was heaven and Who was very familiar with it said there is only one door into heaven.  He said He is the door and no one can enter heaven except by going through Him.  It may not sound like a loving God but that doesn’t change the fact of how heaven and earth were created.  But, since God is loving, He provided a way for us.  He sent His Son, Jesus, the Door to heaven, to walk on this earth and demonstrate love.  This is the highest form of love there is.
