No or Wait

Job 38:2 2 “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? (NIV)

We are a stubborn and self-centered people.  We want what we want when we want it.  We expect when we ask God to do something, He will do it for us.  We claim if we have enough faith all our prayers will be answered.  Basically, this attitude is arguing with God.  We don’t like it when we don’t see what we want and prayed for.  We don’t understand God’s “No.” or His “Not yet.”  We forget God knows the future.  We forgot He loves us enough to say no or say wait.  We tend to act like toddlers wanting things now in in our way.  Our prayers should not be so full of give me and do for me.  Our prayers should be mostly praise and thanksgiving.  Then we should be interceding for the things God wants.  The Bible is full of things we are to unite with heaven in our prayers so they will come about in God’s way and His timing.  Let u choose to grow up into mature children who love, trust and obey our Father.  When He says no or wait, let us praise Him for knowing what is best for us.  As I reflect on some of the times God has said no to me, I rejoice in His wisdom for, today I can see God really does know the best for me.
