John 14:6 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)

Today many define truth as whatever suits them and their own personal desires and opinions.  They easily become offended and often angry when others disagree with what they deem is truth for themselves.  Jesus said He is the truth.  That means everything He said is truth.  Anything that contradicts what He said isn’t truth.  It doesn’t matter if it conflicts with our own opinions or desires.  Truth is found in Jesus and His word.  We are living in a society that wants nothing more than self-gratification.  Many want it so much that they will even murder anyone who would stand in their way of what they want.  These people walk with a heavy weight for the only way to freedom and an abundant life is living in the truth of Jesus.  But those of us who do walk in the truth of Jesus must be sure to walk it in love for those who are living under the lie of what truth actually is.  It is only through love that truth can prevail.  Let’s leave the judging to God, walk the truth in love and let those who are deceived see the difference.
