Changing Daily

Ephesians 4:20-21 20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus (NIV)

We must continually ask ourselves if we are different today from how we were yesterday.  Old habits die hard.  The person we were before we met Jesus tries to resurrect each day.  We are to renew our mind daily.  The way we responded or reacted to hurt is very different when we are in Christ than it was before.  The things that make us angry and the way we respond to them should be changing.  My dear friend told me (when she was 102) “Any day I don’t learn something new about my Lord and Savior is a day wasted.”  This sentence has had a major impact on my life.  How can we learn anything new if we don’t get into the scriptures daily?  How can we learn more about Jesus if we don’t commune with Him daily?  There is a song I sing a lot. “From glory to glory He’s changing me…from earthly things to the heavenly.”  Let us commit to grow daily in our Lord.  Let us allow Him to change us daily as we grow more and more in One in Him.
