Micah 5:2 2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” (NIV)

Luke 2:4 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. (NIV)

Not only did God declare He would send His Word to defeat Satan, He even said, long before Jesus came, where Jesus would be born. Mary and Joseph lived several days away from Bethlehem. God had to coordinate the timing to cause Mary and Joseph to leave their home when she was great with child, to be in Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. We are good at asking God for things but we don’t see the coordination required to make those things come about. It continually amazes me how God can hear so many people praying for so many different things at the same time and coordinate everything to provide for each and every one of His children. Maybe sometime today we might want to read the words to the Christmas carol, “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem
