Numbers 24:7 7 Water will flow from their buckets; their seed will have abundant water.  “Their king will be greater than Agag; their kingdom will be exalted. (NIV)

Matthew 1:2 2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, (NIV)

Jacob was a fighter.  He wrestled with God.  God marked Jacob’s hip from that wrestling.  We often wrestle with God.  This is our sin-nature.  We want things when we want them the way we want them.  Jacob acknowledge his sin.  He had deceived his father and his brother.  He was on the way back to make restitution.  Jesus has given us His Holy Spirit that we will no longer wrestle with God.  We only need to learn to seek His answers in everything before we speak or act.  Let us be seekers of God and His wisdom instead of wrestlers.
