Isaiah 9:7 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.  He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.  The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.  (NIV)

Luke 1:32 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, (NIV)

David was called a man after God’s own heart. Jesus is God’s heart.  Jesus is the Most High.  His Father placed Him on the throne for eternity.  Our question we must consider during this time of Advent is who is on the throne of our lives.  Some have money, or power or material possession on their throne of their lives. Many have themselves on the throne. Jesus came to show us that He, God, is on the throne.  We are to worship Him.  He is a loving and generous King and has promised to see to our needs and bless us throughout all eternity.  He has promised us we will never die.  He has welcomed us into His Kingdom.  We enter His Kingdome the moment we welcome Him onto the throne of our lives for He seals His Kingdome within us with His Holy Spirit living in and through us.  Let us be sure to keep Him on the throne of our lives.
