John 9:5 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (NIV)

Matthew 5:14 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. (NIV)
Matthew 5:16 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (NIV)

In Yosemite, if you are there at the right time in the right conditions, you can see the sunset reflecting on horsetail falls making the falls look like cascading fire.  Even the water vapor from the falls lights up. While Jesus was physically walking this earth, He said He was the Light of the world.  After He rose from the dead He told us, His followers, that we are the light of the world.  Our question is do we reflect His light as horsetail falls reflects the light of the sunset?   How much Light do we reflect?  Do we need the conditions just right for His Light to reflect from us?  These as are questions we must take in prayerful meditation asking the Holy Spirit to show us how much of His Light we reflect and what conditions might be dimming the Light.
