Psalms 139:2 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.

Throughout scripture we read that God knows our thoughts.  There are so many times I wish He couldn’t know my thought, even before I’m aware of my own thoughts.  So often a critical or judgmental thought comes into my mind.  Our minds are like a satellite receiver.  Thoughts flow into our mind.  We are more responsible for what we do with the thoughts that enter our minds.  Our minds are the receptacle.  We can trash a thought, ponder a thought or carry out a thought.  With practice and spiritual grown in what God would have us think and do, we can come to a place where we can trash ungodly thoughts quicker and not allow them into the pondering basket.  When we fill our brain with scripture, keeping out the ungodly thoughts will come easier for we will be pondering and acting out the thoughts that come from scripture, God’s instruction book for daily living.  With the Holy Spirit’s help we can gradually glean more of God’s thoughts into our minds.
