Prayer Scripture

2 Timothy 3:16 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (NIV)

I was praying what I call “prayer scripture.”  When doing that you read a passage of scripture and you put your name or the name of someone God has put on your heart and pray that scripture.  I was doing this a few nights ago then was led to text that scripture to the person I was praying for with the note, “My prayer for you tonight.”  I got an immediate reply, “I was looking or that scripture the last 2 days but couldn’t find it.”  There are many reasons to pray scripture.  The dominant reason is you know that the scripture prayer agrees with God since the scripture is God-breathed.  What a better way to pray!  If you haven’t tried it, I strongly recommend it as it can really invigorate your prayer life.
