Romans 5:12 12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—

Punctuation is a very important part of our language.  To really understand what is written we must pay attention to the punctuation.  Notice the dash (-) at the end o the word “sinned.”  There is no period because this isn’t the end of the thought.  We must combine it with Romans 5:21 “so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (NIV) This summarized the word of Jesus, the Word and Son of God.  He came to demonstrate God’s love in a way we could actually see it with our physical eyes and understand it with our finite minds.  We, the team players, had and continually continue to break the laws of the “game.”  It took the perfect “player,” Jesus to pay the entire penalty for us law breakers.  When Jesus returned to the Father, they sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in each and every believer to coach us on the rules of the game so we could be good team players.  The questions we must each ask ourselves are :

1. Are we listening to the coach?

2. Are we studying the rule book to know the “plays.?”

Let us determine to study and to listen.  This world is in mighty need of good team players for God to bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
