Genesis 2:18 18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”(NIV)

So many people suffer from a feeling of loneliness.  Being alone isn’t the same as loneliness.  Solitude isn’t loneliness.  One can be in a middle of a crowd and feel lonely.  Loneliness is a failure of connecting with others around you.  There can be no one around and yet one doesn’t feel lonely.  When we have a personally relationship with God we can no longer suffer a feeling of loneliness.  God is always with us. Not only is He always with us, He is also in us in the person of His Holy Spirit.  We can enjoy fellowship with Him when no one else is around as well as when we are in the midst of a large crowd.  If a believer should experience loneliness it is time to check their relationship with God.  It is never God Who leaves us, it is us who through unconfessed sin leave God.  Let us be sure to keep our relationship healthy through daily communication and quick confession of any sin.  Let us always enjoy the beautiful, powerful and loving companionship of God.
