Jude 1:22 22 Be merciful to those who doubt; (NIV)

We all go through times when we have doubts.  When in those times, we need encouragement, not criticism.  As our faith builds, it is a natural cycle to go in and out with doubts.  As the faith continues to build, doubts become less often and less intense.  When we are in times of doubt it is good to read over our prayer journal and see all the answered prayer.  This is one reason why it is important to keep a prayer journal.  When we are aware of the doubts of others, let’s be gentle with them.  Our telling them they are wrong to doubt or they must not really be a believer if they doubt will only serve to drive them further away from their faith.  Once again, it comes down to love.  All that we do or say is to be said and done in love, a desire to want God’s best for another.  God continually shows us mercy.  Let is do the same for others.
