God’s Eyes

Matthew 19:26 26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (NIV)

When we look at our trials, what eyes are we using to look at them?  Do we see them as King Saul and his armies saw the giant?  How about the eyes of David?  I’m sure he saw how big and strong and well-armed the giant was.  But, He also saw the power of God and through that saw the giant dead on the ground.  We need to learn to look at our trials with the eyes of God.  God said all things are possible through Him.  Are we going to choose to trust the One through Whom all things are possible or will we let our physical eyes tell us this trial is hopeless?  David fully trusted God regardless of what his physical eyes saw.  David had the experience of God helping him protect the sheep from wild animals.  We have all experienced God’s provision through past trials.  No trial is too big for God to walk with us, give us wisdom and bring us to victory and bring Him glory of our victory.  When we walk through a trial, let us remember there is more to see then what we see with our physical eyes.  Let us always ask God to show us what He sees.
