God’s Timing

Exodus 3:19-20 19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him. 20 So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go (NIV)

Moses and the rest of the Hebrews didn’t understand what God was saying.  They expected to be allowed to leave after the first demand they made.  God knew how many miracles it would take to get the attention of Pharaoh.  So often, when we pray and receive a promise from God we expect it to take place right away in our time and space.  God knows the when and where of all things that are to occur on this earth.  When we stop and think of all the different aspect that must be in a certain order it’s amazing that anything can ever be done.  Praise God, through Him all things are not only possible, all things are done.  Next time we get impatient to see a pray answer, let us remember God’s faithfulness in His time and in His way.
