The Sound of Snow

Proverbs 15:29 29 The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. (NIV)

I was watching a documentary on snow in keeping with our current weather.  I found out that a snow flake actually makes a sound when it hits the ground or other snow.  No human ear can hear the sound but there are advanced electronics that actually pick up and record the sound.  Amazing.  When we pray, many time we pray without using our voices.  We pray silently in our heads with our thoughts.  No human can hear that kind of prayer.  But we have Someone, Our Creator, God, Who actually hears our silent prayers.  He hears them as long as we are robed in the righteousness of His Son, Jesus.  It is such a comfort to know that even when we are in a location or circumstance were we cannot speak aloud with our voice, God still hears us as we pray silently.  Let us remember He hears what we think and turn our thoughts over to Him in confidence of His love for us.
