Transformation

2 Corinthians 3:18 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (NIV)

Life is movement.  There is no standing still in life.  We either move or we die.  For Christians, we must be constantly changing, constantly being transformed into the image of Christ Jesus.  If we are not moving, not in a state of being transformed, our faith is in the process of dying.  A dear friend of mine who was in her 100’s said, “Any day I don’t learn something new about my Lord and Savior is a day wasted.”  When we rise in the morning it should be with an expectation to continue to transformation process and as we are being transformed, learning something new about our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Before we sleep at night we should review the day and express to God, the Father, what we have learned about His Son during the day.  As we do this, we can’t help but be filled with the glory that comes from the Lord.
