Philippians 4:6 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (IV)

I was having a bad day.  I was looking at all the expensive projects waiting for my attention and grew more and more anxious about them.  Then I remembered this verse.  I talked with my Father, thanking Him for the wisdom He would give me at the right time.  I thanked Him that I only had to face one project at a time.  I chose not to be anxious.  I chose to trust God and His promises.  God has given each of us the ability to choose.  We can choose to believe or not believe.  We can choose to trust or not trust.  We can choose to be anxious or choose peace in the One Who has absolute power over everything.  The choice is ours.  Next time we find ourselves slipping into worry or anxiousness, let us remember Whose we are and Who is true to His promises.
