The Winner

Ephesians 3:6 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.  (NIV)

There is so much anti-Jew and anti-Christian going on throughout the world.  Many wonder why Christians support the Jews. After all, aren’t the Jew responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus, the Son of God?  Actually no, God’s plan was for Jesus to be sacrificed.  His sacrifice was the only way we could be free from the penalty of our sin – eternal separation from God.  The Christians, most of whom were considered gentiles by the Jews who were God’s chosen race, through their belief and acceptance of Jesus as the Lord of their hearts, minds and lives, became united with the Jews and all the promises God made to His chosen race.  We are now one family.  Many Jews have come to believe and accept Jesus as the Son of God.  Other Jews do their best to follow all the precepts God gave through Moses.  Yet others are Jews only by race but no longer practicing the precepts given by God.  As Christians, we are to love all.  Through our love we are to encourage all to open their hearts to Jesus.  We do this by positive support, not by condemnation or name calling.  The Jews and the Jewish nation of Israel are an integral part of God’s plan.  We can either support God’s plan by supporting the nation of Israel as a Jewish nation or we can go against God’s plan.  Let us support God’s plan and pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all of Israel.  The Holy Bible cites the world would be against us but since God is for us it doesn’t really matter what the world thinks.  I’ve read the last sentence in the Holy Bible and I know Who wins.  I stand with the Winner.
