Invisible Qualities

Romans 1:20 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.  (NIV)

Many say they have never seen a miracle.  Others say they have never seen God or evidence of God.  They must be blind.  We can’t look at the beautiful variety in the nature around us without seeing the evidence of God.  The variety of the music of birds.  The vast variety of the colors of flowers.  The beauty of an old tree.  All these are evidence of the miracle of God’s creation.  Seeing how intricately He designed these things and knowing Jesus said we are of even more importance than all the nature God created how can we see anything else rather then the love of God for us.  That He knows how many hairs are on our heads which we don’t even know (unless we’re bald) tells of His love and care for the smallest details of our lives.  Since He is concerned about the smallest details of our lives shouldn’t we be sharing them with Him as we converse with Him in prayer?  So many only go to God with what they think is a really big problem.  To God, everything about us and everything that concerns us is important to Him for His attention.  So, throughout every part of every day, let’s remember to keep our conversation going with God.  He already knows because He knows our thoughts even before we do, but, as we like to hear our children actually talk aloud with us, God also likes to actually hear us speak openly to Him.
