Anything Anytime

Acts 2:14 14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.  (NIV)

Peter was an uneducated fisherman.  Yet, read on past verse 14.  That doesn’t read like an uneducated fisherman.  This along with the examples of yesterday, show the power of God to use any vessel He chooses to do mighty things.  Jesus even said God could make rocks shot glory if He so chose to do so.  There is nothing God can’t do through any vessel He chooses.  But God will not force anyone to allow Him to work through them.  We have the freedom of choice.  Many are afraid God will choose them to do something they don’t want to do or feel is way to difficult for them.  Absolutely nothing except telling a lie is impossible for God.  Writing on the same subject 2 days in a row might seem like I’m harping on this subject but it is so very important.  I see so many people thinking they don’t have a ministry, God wouldn’t possible use them for anything.  God’s desire is to flow and work through every individual ever created.  Even the handicaps we consider we might have are no match for the power of God to accomplish what He wants to do through us.  God doesn’t always spell out in specifics what He wants to do through us.  Our roll is to be open to anything God wants as any time He wants it.  Failing to hear and respond won’t thwart what God wants to do, it will only cheat us out of the joy of God working through us.  Let us always be open for anything at anytime God chooses.
