Greatest Miracle

John 6:32-35 32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.  33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.   34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.” 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (NIV)

Just as people did when Jesus walked this earth, we still seek the miraculous.  We define the miraculous as external events that are out of the natural flow of things.  Jesus said the greatest miracle is in coming to Him and eating the truth He gives us.  I know the changes He made in me, who I am, how I think, speak and act are bigger than any miracle like making the physically blind to see or the Grto walk.  The change He made in me has opened my blind eyes to the spiritual workings of God and has enabled me to walk in a way and to places I would never have walked without His leading me.  The “flashy” miracles are fine but let us look for the miracle Jesus makes within our hearts.  Eating from His word, believing all He says and walking in what He says far surpasses any other miracle He does.
