Pleasing God

Hebrews 11:6 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.  (NIV)

Faith is a choice.  We either choose to believe and trust or we choose not to believe and trust.  The choice of faith in God becomes easier when we earnestly seek Him.  We seek God through diligent reading, studying and meditating on His instruction manual, the Holy Bible and through 2-way conversation with Him know as prayer.  How earnestly we seek is in relation to how much time we spend in His written Word verses how much time we spend reading other books or watching TV or videos.  We must ask ourselves is God a priority in our schedule or do we relegate Him to a couple hours on Sunday then go about our own fleshly desires.  When we fill ourselves with God we are filled with love.  Our goal is to be so filled with God that love floods out of us without measure.  What is our reward for pleasing God with faith and trust?  A life fuller and more abundant than we can ever imagine and an eternity in the very presence of Love.
