Bible Says It

Romans 1:16 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  (NKJ)

Many don’t believe what is in the Holy Bible because they don’t understand.  Our finite minds can’t fully comprehend how God does the things He does or even why He has told us to do certain things and not do outer things.  Understanding and being able to apply what is recorded in the scriptures isn’t possible from purely and intelligent means.  It is not until we accept Jesus, the Son of God into our hearts, minds and lives and choose to follow Him and allow the Holy Spirit to enter us that we are able to choose to believe all that is in the scriptures because of Who spoke the scriptures into existence through those who were willing to listen and follow and record what the Holy Spirit said to them.  It is that same Holy Spirit Who speaks to us today through those very words He gave others to record.  We don’t have to understand the how or why of every word of the Holy Bible.  Belief is a choice.  Because God said it through His Holy Spirit, we can choose to believe it and follow it.  There is a saying, “God said it, I read it and I believe it.”  We either choose to believe the entire Holy Bible or we don’t.  We can’t choose just the words we like and change the meaning or remove the words we don’t like.  God didn’t put the words there for us to like.  He put the words there so we could have an abundant life and walk daily in fellowship with Him now and throughout eternity.
