Romans 8:35 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  (NIV)

Romans 8:37 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (NIV)

We can’t be conquerors if there is nothing to conquer.  In this life there is a lot to conquer.  Satan and his cohorts are always active trying to separate us from our relationship with God through Christ.  We see our hardships and troubles as physical and material problems but in actuality the battle is a spiritual one.  God has given us the weapons need to conquer any problem or trial we face.  We have a sword sharper than any sword mankind can create.  Our sword is the word of God.  Jesus used that sword quoting scripture to Satan during His 40 days of fasting afteher T

Every Spiritual Blessing

Ephesians 1:3 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  (NIV)

The word bless in some form or another is in the Holy Bible 442 times.  God strengthens our faith through His blessings (Psalms 29:11 11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. NIV)  David speaks of God giving us blessings in .Romans 4:6 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:  In other words, we can’t and don’t earn blessings from God;  God gives them to us.  Neither can we barter by saying if He does such and such then we will do something.  It is only through Jesus, God’s Son that we, as believers in Jesus and wearing His robe of righteousness are blessed by God  with every spiritual blessing.  May I encourage you to do a word study on blessing in all it’s forms and discover some of the spiritual blessings God has for us.  Our problem is in recognizing them and in receiving them.  Many of these blessings are missed by us because our mind is on material things.  Some of God’s blessings will show up through material things but God but God is more concerned with our spiritual life that goes into eternity.  He knows we emphasize our physical life more than enough.  What do we do with the blessings God give us?  We share them with others and we give blessings back to God.
