Psalms 96:12-13. Let the fields and everything in them celebrate!  Then let the trees of the forest shout with joy. before the Lord, for he comes!  For he comes to judge the earth! He judges the world fairly,
and the nations in accordance with his justice.

Have you read these 2 verses and wondered why trees and fields and all in the fields would celebrate and shout with joy?  Here is just a thought.  We are a wasting, polluting people.  We use and abuse all of God’s creation.  People and nations will be held accountable to God for how we use the resources He has provided.  Next time we throw any recyclable thing away let’s pause to thank God for His more than generous provisions and re-use or recycle.  Just a thought.

Psalms 113:3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!

We had a late night and when I woke at my normal time I said Good Morning to God and told Him I was tired and not going to walk that morning.  I rolled over to go back to sleep.  I kept hearing Him say to walk so after an hour I finally got up and dressed and headed out for my walk.  I usually walk an hour or more before the sunrise.  This time I was surprised by the beautiful, red sunrise.  I had to look through a lot of trees to see it.  I found the trees interfering with my view.  That is how it is when we look at the Son risen.  We have a lot of interference and don’t see Him in all His beauty or power.  Our trees blocking our view can be many different things: too much in our schedule, to interested in other things, thinking we can only see Him at church, disobedience and on and on.  Our question is do we want to see the Son of the living God throughout our day or are we more interested in the trees of our distractions?  The Son Risen brings light to our path.  It was much easier for me to be walking after the sun rise than in the dark before the early light.  It is easier for our life’s walk if we will look through all our trees of distractions to see the risen Son and allow His Light through His Holy Spirit light our way throughout the day.
